SpotScribe Launches AI Podcast Show Notes Generator That Turns Episodes Into Summaries, Topics, and Mentions
Introducing SpotScribe AI Podcast Show Notes Generator: generates a summary, timestamped topics, and notable mentions from a podcast episode.
Creators can upload audio or video or paste a Spotify or Apple Podcasts link, then copy, edit, download, or regenerate their show notes.

San Francisco, California – October 5, 2026 – SpotScribe today launched its AI podcast show notes generator, a new tool that creates show notes directly from the content of a podcast episode. Each set of notes includes a short summary, timestamped topics, and a list of notable people, places, books, and other subjects mentioned during the conversation.

Writing show notes often starts when the rest of the episode is already finished. The creator has recorded the conversation, edited the audio, and prepared it for release. They still need to listen through the episode again, decide how to organize it, check timestamps, and write a description for listeners.

SpotScribe handles that first draft.

Creators can upload an audio or video file or paste a Spotify or Apple Podcasts episode link. SpotScribe transcribes the episode and uses the transcript to prepare the show notes.

The short summary gives listeners a quick introduction to the episode. The Topics section organizes the conversation into useful categories and adds timestamps showing where each subject begins. The Mentions section collects notable names and references from the episode, including people, places, books, companies, and products.

Because the notes come from the full transcript, they reflect the conversation itself instead of relying only on the episode title or description.

Users can copy the finished notes or download them as a Markdown file, making it easy to edit the content before adding it to a podcast hosting platform, website, newsletter, or content management system.

If a set of notes does not capture the episode in the right way, the user can generate another version without transcribing the episode again. This can be repeated until the structure and emphasis fit the episode.

“By the time a podcast is recorded and edited, most creators want to publish it, not listen to the whole episode again to write notes,” said Jack, CEO at SpotScribe. “SpotScribe gives them a useful first draft that they can edit, export, or regenerate until it fits the episode.”

The SpotScribe AI podcast show notes generator is available today.
