Auburn, Alabama – June 1, 2022 – Alliance Specialty Contractor has hired two new interns to work for the summer of 2022. The Lee County Public School’s internship offers hundreds of high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors the opportunity to professionally present themselves to employers looking to hire interns. Alliance Specialty Contractor received several resumes from qualified candidates. Students were required to go through face-to-face interviews to select the final three candidates. At the end of this process, a junior from Auburn High School was hired to work for Alliance Specialty Contractor starting June 6th, also, a senior from Auburn High School was hired to work for Alliance Specialty Contractor starting June 6th. The interns hired by Alliance Specialty Contractor described their experience at the internship interviews as scary. “This was the first time that I’d been put in the place to be professional and as rewarding and fun as the internship expo was, it was definitely a scary experience. I do think, though, that this whole experience, working with Alliance Specialty Contractor, is excellent work experience for the future, and I’m really excited for this opportunity.”

This year, Alliance Specialty Contractor has two interns who are working with the digital marketing program at the Columbus, Georgia office. The two interns this year have several responsibilities, including conducting trials on website design and social media, creating fresh photographic and videographic content, overseeing the implementation of those creatives, updating the website, managing new social media accounts, and collaborating with team members on the day-to-day business of Alliance Specialty Contractor. Each of the interns brings a unique background and different set of career interests to the table which has proven to be beneficial to the Digital Marketing Program.
When asked the question of “How is Alliance Specialty Contractor making use of your skills and knowledge?”, the new interns stated, “I know that Alliance Specialty Contractor needs their website redone and I can’t wait to be able to do that and produce a finished project. I also am very excited to help Alliance Specialty Contractor do their social media and to help them get their great business out into the world.”
Alliance Specialty Contractor is excited to see all that their interns will accomplish during the rest of this summer and as they move into careers either within Alliance Specialty Contractor or another company.
