Earnest is an education financing company that wants to help people take on less debt, and has made it easier than ever for students to enter the 2021 Earnest Fall Scholarship $250,000 giveaway. The scholarship fund is giving 50 students $5,000 each for college expenses.
The deadline to submit an application is less than a month away, and there is no GPA or essay requirement to apply. While the deadline is coming up fast, it should only take a few minutes to enter.
Earnest is one of the top education finance companies in the country and has been awarding scholarships to eligible students since 2019. In total, Earnest has already awarded close to $350,000 to 55 winners. The scholarship is funded through the Earnest student loan refinancing with a percentage of every dollar it earns funneled towards this scholarship program.
“We removed the essay requirement because applying for a scholarship can take up a lot of time. Thousands of dollars in scholarships go unclaimed every year, and we believe more students will apply if we make the process easier,” said Earnest CEO David Green.
Applications are open to both undergraduate and graduate students, U.S. Citizens, Permanent Residents of the United States, and DACA recipients. The deadline is June 30, 2021, and the draw will be held during the month of July 2021.
