Electric actuators can be divided by control mode into:

1. Switching type electric actuator (ON-OFF model): The control signal can only be used to control a preset fixed position, either on or off.

2. Regulating electric actuators (Modular model): the control signal can be used to control at any position and the valve can be opened to any degree.

Electric actuators basic knowledge:

The electric actuator can also be operated with manual operation, which facilitates the switching control when the valve even under power failure; the electric actuator can be installed under any angle, without the limitation of time and space. The main voltage of our electric actuators is 220V and 380V. Electric actuator switching time: in general, is between 10-120S, depending on the motor power of the electric actuator. And Commonly used Ingress Protection are IP65, IP66, IP67 and IP68.

IP followed by two number, the first is a solid state level of protection ranging from 0-6, the lowest being no special protection against external people or objects, the highest being complete protection against foreign objects and dust; the second is a liquid state level of protection ranging from 0-8, the lowest 0 indicating no special protection against the effects of water or moisture, the highest 8 against the effects of continuous immersion in water at a depth of more than 1 meter. In both cases, the higher the number, the higher the level of protection.

Butterfly valve drives are divided into four types: manual, electric, pneumatic and hydraulic. Here we just describe the characteristics of the electric butterfly valve:

4. Good seal can be achieved at low pressure, using stainless steel and nitrile oil resistant rubber as auxiliary raw materials for the seal, with a longer service life.
