Friendly Shoes is a brainchild of Joseph Difrancisco, an occupational therapist himself. Working with a number of his patients, he realized how hard it is to put on and remove shoes, especially for those with mobility problems. The ones he found in the market were shoes he wouldn’t want to wear himself. They were boxy, limited in color and design, and unflattering to the wearer. He set off on a quest to create the best footwear solution that addresses comfort, design, and ease of use.
