Frolic: An Inspiring Art Exhibition is Coming to Los Angeles With an Aim to Connect East & West

The Art Exhibition Will Feature The Work of Ten Young Chinese Artists of Age 9-13 & It Puts a Special Emphasis on Humor

Los Angeles, CA, USA – July 26, 2019 – Journey International Education Exchange Association has proudly announced that alongside the Central Academy of Fine Arts Museum (CAFAM), it is organizing an inspiring new art exhibition in Los Angeles, California. The exhibition is called ‘Frolic: Chinese Art Exhibition New Gen.’ and it will be taking place on Saturday, July 27th, 2019. Moreover, the event is sponsored by China Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA), which is an art academy managed by the Ministry of Education of China and the Manila Bulletin calls this academy ‘China’s most Prestigious Art Academy’.

“This exhibition will display the art pieces from a group of ten young Chinese artists of age 9 to 13 years old from Beijing,” said the spokesperson of CAFA Art Museum, while talking about the art exhibition. “These children will display their talent through their Traditional Ink Wash Painting, Pyrography, and Line Drawing techniques,” he added. According to Aaron Lin, this event is being organized to redefine the traditional Chinese art by the new generation of young artists and to discover the sense of humor from Chinese traditional liberal sprits.

According to The Academic Leader, the theme of the exhibition is “The Reinterpretation of Traditional Chinese Culture”, which express the humor in the spirit of traditional Chinese literati, reorganizes and presents the spiritual theory of the Chinese culture. Humor is a constant and important spiritual theory shared by the Chinese and the western cultures, and the exhibition will play a major role in spreading smiles.

In addition, the art exhibition also highlights and unfolds to its audiences, new dimensions of the modern Chinese art. ‘Humorous’ is the main character of this art exhibition and it will connect Eastern and Western culture together. Furthermore, the Academic Support for this inspiring art exhibition is being offered by Research Center for Public Aesthetic Education  and CAFA Art Museum.
